The plan was to stay in Evanston for one year: wrap up our Chicagoland commitments, find new jobs up north and peace out from Illinois. But then we got here and fell in love.
See, Evanston, Illinois is this amazing little city that offers the best of urban and suburban life. It is a great fit for my family and, if you're reading this, it probably works pretty well for your family too. But knowing when to do what and where to go for it - especially with little ones in tow - can be difficult, so let me help.
I'm a mom to 2 kids. I've been in Evanston for about 2 years. I am a staycation queen who is intent on sharing what I know about life in Evanston with kids!
